A look at the match results from the WWE Money in the Bank 2017 pay-per-view.

The WWE Money in the Bank 2017 pay-per-view is set to take place. It’s an exclusive show for SmackDown LIVE, its second since WrestleMania 33.

The Maharaja Jinder Mahal and The Viper Randy Orton will collide in the headliner. The WWE Championship will be on the line, as they battle in a standard matchup. Who will walk out with the WWE title?

SmackDown LIVE Women Champion Naomi will defend the SmackDown LIVE Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank. She will face Lana, who’s only wrestling on TV for the second time in her career. It should make for an interesting match, potentially showcasing a title change.

The New Day and The Usos will go head-to-head for the SmackDown LIVE Tag Team Championship. Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will make their first PPV appearance for the Blue Brand (SmackDown LIVE) here, and look to take home more gold.

The night’s focus will be on the two Money in the Bank Ladder matches, one for the womens and the other for the mens. It’s the first time this will ever happen in one show, as well as it being an all time first for the females. Who will walk out with the briefcases on Sunday?

The Hype Bros vs. The Colons

Mojo works over Primo in the opening moments then tags in Ryder for the double team. Ryder gears up for the Broski Boot but Epico pulls Primo outside for the save. Ryder runs and dives onto the Colons at ringside at last Primo misses a splash in the corner and The Hype Bros hit the Hype Ryder on Primo for the win.

“Money in the Bank” Ladder Match
Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Tamina vs. Natalya vs. Carmella

James Ellsworth is at ringside in Carmella’s corner. After the ring entrances we’re shown a video highlighting Naomi’s Women’s Championship victory with pre-taped promos from the contestants in tonight’s match. Back to the ring, the opening bell rings and Tamina starts off by clearing the ring. Charlotte comes back in and starts laying people out until Tamina drops her with a superkick. Tamina throws Becky in the corner then hits a Samoan Drop on Carmella. Tamina superkicks Natalya then sets up a ladder in the corner. Tamina slingshots Natalya into the ladder, then throws a ladder on Becky.at last while carmella climbing the ladder Becky powerbombs Carmella then starts climbing the ladder,Ellsworth pushes the ladder off. Ellsworth tries to wake up Carmella but she’s still out, so Ellsworth starts climbing and the crowd chants “Yes!” The bell rings, but the referees are arguing at ringside. Charles Robinson and Rudy Charles argue with another referee, but Ellsworth commandeers the ringside mic and announces that Carmella has won and is the first female Money In The Bank winner. Carmella’s music hits and she makes her exit with the briefcase.

After the match, Carmella and James Ellsworth celebrate heading up the ramp. The referee staff continues to argue at ringside as we see Charlotte and Natalya very upset.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Usos (c’s) vs. The New Day

Big E and Kofi Kingston will represent New Day tonight. We start with Kofi and Jimmy Uso. Series of counters early between Kofi and Jimmy. Tag to Jey who throws a big right at Kofi. Kofi trips up Jey, tags in Big E and he splashes Jey over the ring apron! Quick tag back to Kofi who kicks Jey in the chest with help from Big E.at the end of the match,
Big E Taggs to Kofi. Kofi goes up top and dives over The Usos with a trust fall. Literally, a trust fall. Back inside, Big E props Jey up on his shoulder and Kofi off the top with a DDT. Jimmy pulls Jey out during the pinfall attempt by Kofi. The Usos walk off. The referee starts the count.

The referee reaches the 10 count and he calls for the bell.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
Naomi (c) vs. Lana

Naomi backs Lana into the corner to start things off. Naomi misses a splash off the top and Lana knocks her to the outside. Back in the ring, Lana slams Naomi onto the mat a couple times then his a vertical suplex. Lana hits a second vertical suplex then kicks Naomi in the face.at last,Carmella’s music hits. Lana is not happy watching Carmella skip down the ramp. Carmella starts to hand the briefcase to the timekeeper, but hesitates and says no way. Naomi with a counter on Lana into submission. Lana taps out.

Winner and still Smackdown Women’s Champion: Naomi

After the match, Naomi celebrates with the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Carmella again teases cashing in her briefcase, but smiles and says no.

WWE Championship
Jinder Mahal (c) w/ The Singh Brothers vs. Randy Orton

Loud reaction for Randy Orton tonight in his hometown.

The bell rings and Orton goes after Mahal right away. Mahal avoids an early RKO and slides out of the ring. Mahal is back in and Orton catches him with a Lou Thesz Press with right hands. Orton dumps Mahal over the top rope with a front suplex and starts stomping away. Orton with a clothesline to Mahal on the outside and tosses him back in. Mahal avoids a DDT from Orton and tosses him over the top rope. At the end of the matvh Orton connects Mahal with an RKO on Mahal. One of The Singh Brothers put Mahal’s foot on the bottom rope. The referee looks down at them. Orton is arguing with the referee. The referee turns around and sends The Singh Brothers to the back. They have a conversation before leaving and walk over to the legends at ringside. They grab Bob Orton. Randy runs up and takes out both with an uppercut and sends the other into the ring. Orton sends one brother into the timekeepers area and drops the other over the barricade. Orton grabs one of the brothers and drops him back first over the announce table! Orton grabs another Singh brother, clears off two announce tables, throws right hands, hits an RKO on one, gets up on one of the announce tables and hits an RKO on the second brother through the table! Back inside, Mahal kicks out the knee of Orton and hits his Cobra Clutch slam for the win!

After the match, we see a shot of Jinder Mahal celebrating with the WWE Championship on the ramp. We see a shot of Randy Orton just starting to recover in the ring.

Breezango vs. The Ascension

The Ascension is revealed to be the mystery duo from the VHS tape earlier. The Ascension double team Breeze early on and Viktor hits a flying knee for a two count. Fandango gets the tag and drops Konnor with a spinning heel kick. Fandango takes Viktor off the apron, then turns around and gets a spinbuster from Konnor for a two count. Viktor tags in and Fandango rolls up Viktor for the win.

“Money in the Bank” Ladder Match
AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sami Zayn vs. WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin

The video promo   for this ladder match aired before the entrances this time.
Baron Corbin attacks Nakamura during his entrance before the match. Corbin hits him with a ladder and then snatches a camera from a cameraman and bashes Nakammura with it. The referees call for the opening bell while Nakamura is still laying on the stage. The action spills from the ring out to ringside almost immediately, and Sami Zayn hits a suicide plancha on Kevin Owens. Ziggler and Corbin briefly team up to hit AJ Styles with a ladder. Ziggler tries to strike a partnership with Corbin, but Corbin immediately drops him with a right hand.after some time Styles and Corbin are climbing up a ladder on each side. Ziggler is climbing over Corbin and knocks Styles off with a right. Corbin pulls Ziggler down. Zig Zag on Corbin off the ladder! at end of the match Nakamura is grabbing a ladder on the outside. Nakamura fights off Owens and sets the ladder up in the ring. Styles is in. Styles and Nakamura have a stare down against the ladder. Both move the ladder over. They exchange elbows. Nakamura with an exploder on Styles from a sleeper. The ladder is back in play. Styles and Nakamura are climbing up. Nakamura with a big elbow to Styles. Styles with a forearm to Nakamura. Corbin is back in to push the ladder over. Corbin is climbing. He has the briefcase.
